Linda F. White

Linda Faye White 68, of Rock Island, IL passed away on Thursday February 11, 2021 at Illini Hospital, Silvis, Illinois.

A visitation will be held on Monday February 22, 2021 from 11am-12:30pm at Trimble Funeral Home, 701 12th Street Moline, 61265.

Linda was born September 11, 1952 in Wilson, Arkansas to C.B and Reola Edwards. Linda was a Certified Nursing Assistant, attended Beauty School as well as worked other various jobs. The job Linda loved the most was being a full time Grandmother.

Linda enjoyed spending time reading, being a fashionista, laughing, and cooking with her family. She was the best cook. Linda’s favorite television shows were Seinfeld and Game of Thrones. Linda was known for always having her dog Mercedes with her and a purse full of candy for herself and grandchildren.

Linda loved to travel and visit her family. She was the sister and aunt who was the life of the party. Linda loved Tupac Shakur's song Dear Mama. Linda’s Legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family she loved dearly.

Linda is survived by her 2 children, Monica White, Davenport, IA; Marlon (Brooke) White, Indianapolis, IN; 4 grandchildren, Lamar McGhee, Don White, Donneshia (Delarius) Coleman, Kiara White; 15 great grandchildren, Lamaireo McGhee, Laniyah McGhee, Roshika Wilson, Lakeyla McGhee, Lamonica McGhee, Lamarion McGhee, Dontrez White, A’Donis White, Kimonte Bomar, Reola Bomar, Cammie Grant, Arius Grant, Amy Coleman, Ki’Moni White, and Christopher Walton; Siblings, C.B. Edwards Jr, Raymond Edwards, Ronald (Elizabeth) Edwards, Michael Edwards, JoAnn Edwards, Janice (Larry) Westbrook, Sharon Edwards, and Donna Edwards, as well as special friends Shirley Cade, Shirley Clay, Rosa Wilson, Ira Tinsley.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents C.B and Reola Edwards and brother Melvin Harris.
