Linda A. Hubert

Linda A. Hubert, 64, of Moline, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at home surrounded by her family.

Services are Noon Friday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Rev. Mason Parks officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Cremation will take place after services at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or any veteran's organization.

The former Linda Ann Ellis was born October 29, 1954, in East Prairie, Missouri, the daughter of Monroe and Winnie (Vance) Ellis. She married Jesse Lee Hubert on February 12, 1993, in Rock Island, Illinois. She had worked at Good Samaritan, 7-11, Trinity Hospital, and The Rock Island Convalescent Center.

"Miss Linda" was a member of New Journey AME Church in Moline, and enjoyed playing chess and cards, dancing, and singing. She was always lifting everyone's spirits and will truly be missed. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Linda.

Miss Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Jesse Hubert; children, Edward (Elaina) Ellis of Madison, Wisconsin, Lasandra Ellis of Moline, Demetrics (Terrance Craig) Ellis of East Moline, Keela Bomar of Des Moines, and Katrina (Lamont Smith) Gipson of Des Moines; sisters, Cynthia Bryant, Ethar "Sister" Ellis, Shiela Gertner, Theresa Patterson, Brenda Jacobs, Alice Ellis, Elizabeth Williams, Annie Williams, and Lena Mason; brothers, James, Ronnie, and Kenneth Williams, and Christopher Ellis; her step-mother, Mildred Ellis; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Earl and Leroy Williams; and a son-in-law, Aundre Bomar.
