Laura J. Hutchinson, 49, of Forrest Hill Health and Rehab Center, East Moline, Illinois, formerly of Milan, Illinois, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, with The Reverend Tim Snart officiating. Burial is in Preemption Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to The ARC of the Quad Cities.
She was born January 22, 1964, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Orville Eugene and Ruth Ellen (Miller) Hutchinson.
Laura worked for OCI, The ARC of the Quad Cities, and was active in the Special Olympics. She attended First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan, and especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by siblings and their spouses, Roland and Cynthia Hutchinson of Orion, Dennis Hutchinson of Des Moines, Iowa, Debra and Ronald Green of East Moline, Linda and James Bleuer of Milan, Becky and Carl McGee of Colona, and Paula and Matthew DeWild of Milan; nieces and nephews, Jesse and Misty Hutchinson, Thomas Hutchinson, Christina McGee, Molly and Derek Fegter, Carl McGee, Brandon Bleuer, and Jonathan DeWild; great-nieces and nephews, Addison, Owen, Onyx, and Ryanne; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
