Kristie L. Chase

Kristie L. Chase, 63, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, August 25, 2017, in her home in Austin, Texas.

Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Leading the Way (LTW.org). Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is serving the family.

The former Kristie Louise Suss was born March 7, 1954, in Moline, to Leo Jennings and Jeannette Frances (Rhodes) Suss. She married John Chase on July 30, 1984, in Nashua, Iowa.

Krissy is survived by her husband, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlee and Mark Smith and their children, Taelon, Lincoln, and Chrissy, all of Phoenix, Arizona; and her sister, Kelly Welsh of East Moline. She was preceded in death by her son, Gene Kurtz Laud, and brothers, Kenneth and Keith Suss.
