Kimberly Dexter, 57, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, October 27, 2016, at home.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A gathering to celebrate Kim's life will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at her residence.

The formerly Kimberly Brooke Keck was born March 5, 1959, in Beaufort, South Carolina, the daughter of Edwin Sr. and Dorothy (Leist) Keck.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and shopping. She also liked being outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing, or gardening. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Steelers' fan, and liked NASCAR. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren.

Kim is survived by her mother, Dorothy Keck of Muscatine; her significant other of 21-years, David Matkovich, and his sons Daniel and Mark Matkovich, all of Davenport; two daughters, Connie Gile, and Susan Dexter, and her fiancé Ryne Weber, all of Bettendorf; six grandchildren; and siblings, Kathy and Jim Garrison, Dennis and Felicia Keck, and Bob Keck, all of Muscatine, Iowa, David and Kerrie Keck of Atlanta, Georgia, and Edward Jr. and Karen Keck of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a son, James Bradley Dexter; and a son-in-law, Richard Gile, Jr.
