Kathy E. King, 37, of Canton, Illinois, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006, in her home.
Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral. Memorials may be made to the Kathy King Memorial Fund for her daughter.
Kathleen Elizabeth King was born February 23, 1969, in Rock Island, the daughter of Leonard Martin King and Cora Dehls. She was an LPN and enjoyed doing nursing work in the Quad Cities and Peoria areas.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Cassandra King; her mother, Cora Andrews, and her father, Leonard King, all of Moline; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Orit Ruiz of Austin, Texas, Martin and Beth King of Taylor Ridge, James and Tanya Hurtado of Milan, and Daniel Hurtado of Moline, and their families; several aunts and uncles, including Shirley Thomas of Moline and Jean Dehls of East Moline; and her best friends, Tammy Hammond of New Boston and Deanna McMurtry of Morton, Illinois.
