Katherine Doss

Katherine Doss, 86, of East Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at home.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with Rev. Brad Swartout officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Friends are invited to New Hope Fellowship, 2345 19th Street, Moline, for a reception immediately following burial.

The former Katherine Blunt was born March 31, 1932, in Moline, the daughter of Howard and Katherine (Scherer) Blunt.

She was an active member of New Life Fellowship in Moline. She enjoyed playing Bingo, eating out, and being with family and going to family reunions.

Kathy is survived by three children, Kathleen Drummond of East Moline, Harvey Baker of Milan, and Tom (Kathy) Baker of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Carrie, Chris, Tommy Jr., Jamie, and Timmy Baker; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Lee) Blunt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Race, Clarice Cramblit, and Margaret Dodd; brothers, Dudley and Howard Blunt, and two younger brothers; and a granddaughter, Christina Simpson.
