Joyce B. Cram, 79, of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, October 6, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Donald L. Levitt officiating. Private burial is at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The former Joyce Barbara Mennig was born July 3, 1935, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of C.W. "Whitey" and Irene Mennig. She graduated from the Immaculate Conception Academy in Davenport in 1954. She married Donald C. Cram on October 13, 1954, in Davenport.

Joyce worked for Blackhawk College in the personnel department for many years, and developed many close friendships there, including Donna Schnoebelen, Dona Frye, and Evelyn Phillips.

In her free time, she was constantly reading, was an avid golfer, and above all else enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Don, of Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Patty Cram of Delaware, Ohio, and Patrick and Deborah Cram of Rock Island; grandchildren, Chad, Sean (Ronda), Justin (Jennifer), Danielle Joyce, and Samantha Cram; step-grandchildren, William (Barbara) Close, Malisa (Bryan) Adams, and Traci Hendershot; great-grandchildren, Emma, Dillon, Madison, Logan, Sarah, Havanna, Phoenix, and Nami Cram; step-great-grandchildren, Kylee and Branden Close, Hope and Brooke Adams, and Tyler Meneza; a sister, Patricia Brown of Challis, Idaho; and a sister-in-law, Margie (David) Dwight of East Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter-in-law, April Cram, and an Uncle, George Mennig, who helped raise her after her parents died.
