Josefina Cantero Hernandez

Josefina Cantero Hernandez, 52, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, December 20, 2020,in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Guillermo Trevino officiating. The service will be livestreamed at www.Facebook.com/TrimbleFuneralHome/live. There will be a public viewing for one hour prior to services. The use of masks and social distancing will be enforced. Cremation will take place following services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Josefina was born October 10, 1968, in Salvaterra, GTO, Mexico. She enjoyed spending time in her kitchen she loved to cook and definitely love being surrounded by her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her inspiration. She had a heart of gold.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Miguel Hernandez; two daughters, Brenda (Emmanuel Rivera) Hernandez-Rivera of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Martina Hernandez of Moline; four grandchildren; Damian Sims, Belladira Marie Hernendez-Rivera, Yaneli Elida Rivera-Hernandez, Laila Alejandra Rivera-Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by Ma. Carmen Martinez (mother), Jose Cantero(father), Manuel Cantero(brother), Raul Cantero Martinez(brother), Antonio Cantero Martinez (brother).
