John Knox

John F. "Jack" Knox, 54, of East Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, November 7, 2015, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Following cremation at Trimble Crematory, Moline, private graveside services will be held at Scandinavian Cemetery, Woodstock, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. Cremation is under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Jack was born January 17, 1961, in Woodstock, Illinois, the son of Gordon and Florence Knox. He was a plumber by trade, and an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears' fan.

He is survived by a son, Jordan Knox, of Bettendorf, Iowa, siblings, Judy and John Bloom of Des Moines, Iowa, Tim and Jan Knox of Moline, Jim and Pam Knox of Milan, Illinois, and Tom Knox of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Knox.
