John Havron

John Havron, Jr., 97, of Wheaton, Illinois, formerly of East Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at his son's (Richard Havron) residence in Wheaton.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Milan, with The Reverend Joyce Chamberlin officiating. Private burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is serving the family.

John was born July 30, 1918, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of John and Gertrude (Gjerde) Havron. He married Barbara Strader on May 28, 1961, in Milan.

John was a brakeman for Rock Island Railroad before retiring from Northeast Illinois Commuter Railroad Corporation in Chicago, December 24, 1981.

John is survived by his wife, Barbara Havron; sons, Richard (Shilpi) Havron of Wheaton, Gerald Havron, and Kevin (Shari) Havron of Janesville, Wisconsin; and five grandchildren. His only sibling, Ann Havron, passed away in 2011.
