John E. Boyle

John E. Boyle, 57, of Hiawatha, Iowa, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, November 7, 2015, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline. Graveside services and burial will be held Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to REM of Iowa.

John Edwin Boyle was born August 21, 1958, in Moline, to Richard and Edith (Popejoy) Boyle. He had been disabled following a bicycle accident at the age of 16.

John is survived by brothers, George Boyle and his wife Toni of Colona, Illinois, Ken Boyle of Moline, David Boyle of East Moline, and Daniel Boyle and his long-time companion Margaret Welch of Coal Valley, Illinois; and his aunt, Margie Birmingham of Coal Valley.
