Joan Ross

Joan Ross, 61, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at ManorCare Health Services, Davenport.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory.

Joan was born July 25, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Leroy and Fannie (Nance) Ross. She worked for Per Mar Security for many years as well as Servus Rubber. She also worked in the kitchen at Rock Island Schools and St. Ambrose University.

She enjoyed writing poems, ceramics and painting. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Joan, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Joan is survived by four children, Chenea Green, Willroy Henderson III, Devina Henderson, and Dawone Henderson; grandchildren, Royzelle and Ramirez Henderson, Brianna Woods, Juniyah and Malia Rush, Dawone Henderson, Jr., Tishyah Henderson, Aria Green, and Natajah and Elijah Henderson; siblings, Fannie Haynes, Ben Ross, Dr. William (Angela) Ross, Leroy (Brenda) Ross, Phyllis Ross, and Gloria Nance; and a host of niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
