Jimmie G. Mcclary

Jimmie G. McClary, 74, of East Moline, Illinois, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, Illinois.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, East Moline.

Jimmie Guy McClary was born April 1, 1948, in Panama City, Florida, the son of Tommie and Wanda (Creason) McClary. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He married Anna Marie DeRoo on June 21, 1969, in East Moline. He worked at Navistar for over 28 years.

Jimmie is survived by his beloved wife, Anna McClary; three children, Christopher McClary of Florida, Beth Russell of Indianapolis, and Angela McClary of Indianapolis; a grandson, Jesse James McClary; and siblings, Tommie McClary and Pamela Gomez. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Christopher Scott McClary.
