Jesus Ponce Torres

Jesus Ponce Torres, 29, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, May 16, 2022, in Penrose Main Hospital, Colorado Springs, as a result of injuries he received in an automobile accident.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, with Fr. Antonio Ditmer celebrating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline, Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline.

Jesus was born November 3, 1992, in Moline, to Jose Trinity Ponce and Maria Torres. He worked as a furniture sales representative in Colorado Springs. He lived life to the fullest, loved the outdoors, especially hiking and skiing, and enjoyed dancing and playing the guitar.

Jesus is survived by his parents; siblings, Mariela Ponce Torres and Jose Ponce Torres Jr.; and a nephew, Gabriel Ponce, all of Moline.
