Jesse R. Cripe

Jesse R. Cripe, 47, of Davenport, Iowa, died Monday, December 18, 2017, in the emergency room at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

Private graveside services are in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting the family.

Jesse was born November 17, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of David and Sue (Oertel) Cripe. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in finance, and worked for a mutual fund company in Chicago.

He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and Star Wars.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Sue and David Cripe of Davenport; a brother and sister-in-law, Zach and Megan Cripe of Bettendorf; a niece, Mya Cripe; his grandmother, Betty Cripe of Davenport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
