Jeffrey K. Booth, 58 of East Moline, died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Illini Hospital, Silvis. Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow the service in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be given to the Carl Stutsman Lodge at RICCA - Rock Island County Council On Addictions. Jeffrey Kendrick Booth was born December 5, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Robert and Rosemary (Vaillencourt-Frank) Booth. Jeff served in the United States Navy during Viet Nam aboard the USS Canberra and the USS Columbus. He then attended Blackhawk College in Moline, Illinois. Jeff was employed for ten years as a Quality Control Inspector at J.I. Case in Rock Island leaving in 1980 to go to work at the Rock Island Arsenal, before moving to Arizona. He was previously employed at WHBF in Rock Island. Jeff had many interests including; plants, animals and cooking. Survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Don Armstrong, Sr. and their children, Molly and Gavin Malone, and Sadie Armstrong all of Coal Valley; a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Nicole Booth and their son Christian Booth of Geneseo, IL; father and stepmother, Robert and Vey Booth of Reynolds, IL; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Michelle DeRoo of Hollywood, FL., and Debra and Donald Bartel of Bernard, IA; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Paula Booth of Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Booth.
