Jeffrey J. Masengarb, 55, of Rock Island, Illinois, formerly of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Monday, September 17, 2012, in Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Coal Valley, with Fr. Jim DeBisschop officiating. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sisters of Humility, 820 West Central Park, Davenport, Iowa.
Jeff was born February 9, 1957, in Moline, Illinois, to Wiman and Sarah Lois Brown Masengarb.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Karwath of Bettendorf, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Thomas, James, Steven and Mark Masengarb.
