Geneva J. Mitchum, 78, of Yuma, Arizona, formerly of East Moline, Illinois, died Monday, March 13, 2006, in Yuma Regional Medical Center, Yuma.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
The former Geneva Jane Border was born July 18, 1927, in Whiteside County, Illinois, the daughter of Ovel and Ethelinda (Andrews) Border. She married Wilbur D. Mitchum on July 22, 1946, in Galesburg, Illinois. He died October 30, 1995.
Geneva is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Beverly Mitchum of Downers Grove, Illinois; two grandchildren, Robert Mitchum Jr. and Angela Mitchum; and a brother and sister-in-law, William ?Jack? and Norma Border of Downers Grove.
