Gunhild O. "Tillie" Sanchez, 91, of Ava, Missouri, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Heart of the Ozarks Heath Care Center in Ava.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday in the Celebration fo Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Foundation.

The former Gunhild Otylia Ostrand was born August 6, 1921, in Moline, the daughter of Henning Carl and Olga Melvina (Bjurstrom) Ostrand. She married George Manuel Sanchez on February 9, 1946, in Moline. He died January 24, 1995.

Tillie worked for Coca-Cola Bottling and the Moline Public Hospital in housekeeping.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanie and William Armstrong of Ava, Missouri; grandchildren, Bradley and Tessie Rinehart of Moline, and Christine and Eric Herndon of Halls Crossing, Utah; a step-granddaughter, Stacy Bozeman of Ava; great-grandchildren, Leo Patrick Rinehart and Blake Colton Rinehart; and step-great-grandchildren, Ian and Ariel Bozeman. She was preceded in death by her husband; twin daughters in infancy; a sister, Leona Guss; and brothers, Sven Melvin, Henry, and Donald Ostrand.
