Gregory E. Perkins

Gregory E. Perkins, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, July 26, 2020.

A time of sharing for friends and family will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Masks and social distancing requirements will be enforced. Following services, cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the family.

Gregory Everett Perkins was born August 18, 1957, in Moline, the son of James and Pauline (Fender) Perkins.

He enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo, and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs’ fan. Family and his dogs were the most important thing to Greg.

He is survived by a daughter, LaCee Perkins of Davenport; his mother, Paula Denton of Galesburg, Illinois; siblings, Shari (Johnnie) Johnson of Davenport, Mike Perkins of Bettendorf, and Ruth (Adam) Giese of Kirkwood, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Jason, Justin, Jordan, Jessie, Joshua, Elijah, Ariella, Nevaeh, Azra, Josh, Aubreanna, Bryan, Tobias, and Kaleb; and his beloved dog, Blu. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Michelle Perkins; and a nephew, Joe Perkins.
