Grady D. Kave

Grady D. Kave, Jr., 58, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Moline.

Private family services have taken place. Cremation will be at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Grady was born January 14, 1959, in Moline, the son of Grady Sr. and Norma (Denato) Kave. He served in the U.S. Navy before moving to Florida, where he was a chef for several restaurants and cruise ships.

He is survived by three aunts, Carole, Marian, and Cindy; two step-brothers, Randy and Michael; three step-sisters, Karen Bein, Debbie Hansen, and Kathy Porter; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families; and many close friends, including Eileen and Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and long-time partner, Bernadette.
