Port Byron, Illinois Graveside services for Goldie Parker, 91, formerly of Port Byron, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Reverend Robert O'Connor will officiate. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Parker died Friday, January 4, 2002, in Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, East Moline. The former Goldie Josephine Wiklund was born September 17, 1910, in Moline, the daughter of Fred and Mabel Carlson Wiklund. She was a salesclerk at the former W. F. Woolworth store in Moline for 45 years. She had been a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Rapids City, and enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, and sewing. Goldie is survived by her daughter, Joanne Hallas of Charles City, Iowa; three grandchildren, Christina Tourino, Laura Schweinberger, and Melissa Jo Seale; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Salens and Kristopher Davis.
