Gladys E. Brattstrom

Rock Island, Illinois Gladys Brattstrom, 91, of Rock Island, formerly of Batavia, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2003, in River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Graveside services are 12 Noon Thursday, November 13, 2003, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chicago. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Trimble Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. She was born May 6, 1912, in Chicago, the daughter of F. Algot and Esther (Lovegren) Dahlin. She was united in marriage to Paul J. Brattstrom. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Valerie J. Groene, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Mohrman and her husband Tony, and a grandson, Robert Groene and his fiancee Amy Jasper, all of Moline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Ralph Dahlin, and her step-mother, Ruth Kjelstrom. END OF OBITUARY
