Gary A. Raymond

Gary A. Raymond, 70, of Tripoli, Iowa, formerly of Rock Island, Illinois, died Tuesday June 11, 2019, at Manor Care Health Services in Davenport, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Gary Allen Raymond was born February 23, 1949, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Charles and Darlene (Meyers) Raymond. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and worked many years in the home improvement business across the country.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sitting on the porch and chatting while having a cigarette, and going to dinner for Italian food.

Gary is survived by two children, Patrick (Jessica) Raymond of Tripoli, Iowa, and Nicki Raymond; grandchildren, Felicia, Briana, Riley, KK, Garreg, Braxton, Tyanna, and Preston; and sibilings, Chris (Tom) Murphy, Tony Raymond, Jim Raymond, Joyce Beam. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Raymond.
