Frances K. Podber

Frances K. Podber, 79, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Sunday, February 26, 2023, at The Fountains, in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

Frances Kay Podber was born April 5, 1943, in Manning, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Elberta (Hagedron) Grimm. She was employed as a Social Worker for the State of Iowa for over 30 years. She married Edward Podber on June 8, 1968 in Fairfield, Iowa.

She enjoyed spending her time gardening, reading, cooking, traveling, and watching tv and movies. She had a love for animals, but most of all loved her family and friends.

Frances is survived by her husband, Edward Podber; children, Rachel Podber and Aaron “Bo” Podber; grandchild, Rex Podber; and a brother, Dennis Grimm. She is preceded in death by her parents.
