Flo L. Claerhout, 88, formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away on November 2, 2006, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
No services are planned. Private burial will be in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower St., Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements are entrusted to Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline.
She was born July 12, 1918, in Moline, Illinois to Percy and Grace (Evans) Nilsen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. (Minnie) Claerhout, who was the Fire Chief in Moline.
Flo is survived by her daughter Susan of Scottsdale; her son Bill and his wife Judy of Payson, Arizona; two grandchildren and spouses, Cindy and Gary Soultanian of Scottsdale and Carin and Gus Gallett, of Anthem, Arizona; five great grandchildren; and her sister, Lois Johnson of Tucson.
