Edna E. Behrens

Services for Edna E. Behrens, 89, of Moline, are 11 a.m. Friday at Bethany Baptist Church, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church.

Mrs. Behrens died Monday, December 9, 2002, in her home.

The former Edna Elizabeth Pearson was born January 2, 1913, in Vermillion, South Dakota, the daughter of Victor and Maria (Bredenberg) Pearson. She graduated from Moline High School, and worked at the Rock Island Arsenal prior to her marriage to William H. Behrens on October 2, 1943, in Moline. He died June 29, 1991. She was a lifetime member of Bethany Baptist Church, Moline, and a member of King's Daughters. She and her husband enjoyed traveling.

Edna is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Cynthia Behrens of Moline and Tom R. Behrens of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and four grandchildren, Scott, Tracy and Corianne Behrens of Moline and Sheila Behrens of Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
