Douglas A. Kalagian

Douglas A. Kalagian, 70, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Monday, November 30, 2020, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.

Cremation has taken place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Douglas Arthur Kalagian was born December 30, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of George and Mildred (Hanson) Kalagian. He married Beverly Riley on July 18, 1991, in Belleville, Illinois. He worked as a server on the Celebration Belle for 10 years and later for the Blackhawk Hotel Restaurant.

Doug enjoyed going to the racetrack and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Zachariah, Richard, and Jack Kalagian, Ashley Riley, and Amber and Jessica Kalagian; grandchildren, Sevrin Riley, Kael Riley, Jayce Riley, Lyric Turner, and Larry Turner III; siblings, Gary (Carol) Kalagian, Kevin and Denise Kalagian, Traci Kleve, and Lisa Prenatt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Angela.
