Dorothy J. Kramer, 89, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, in her home.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting Dorothy's family.

The former Dorothy Jeannette Bryan was born October 2, 1924, in Sidney, Ohio, to Stanley and Vida Staley Bryan. She married Clarence Kramer on November 13, 1944, in Mountain Home, Idaho. He died November 22, 1993.

Dorothy was a home maker, and "the best mom ever." She loved her family more than anything, adored her special puppy friend Oliver, and enjoyed quilting, the Garden Club, and penny slots at the casino.

Dorothy is survived by her ten children and their spouses, Peter Kramer of Lombard, Illinois, Michael and Kathy Kramer of Naperville, Illinois, Kathy and Jean Michel Attlan of Oakbrook, Terrace, Illinois, Christine and Paul Lindsey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Charlene Lowell of Raleigh, North Carolina, Steve and Cory Kramer of Aurora, Illinois, Andrea and Mark Olberts of Rock Island, Illinois, Marcia and Ronald Bergstrand of East Moline, Illinois, Maria and Bob Lance of Moline, and John Paul and Susan Kramer of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn Taylor of Cape Coral, Florida; and a brother, William Bryan of Hilton Head, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; a son-in-law, Tom Lowell; and four brothers.
