Dorothy Schifler, 89, of Milan, Illinois, died Monday, November 27, 2006, in Rosewood Care Center, Moline, Illinois.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Girardi Funeral Home, Frankfort, Ill., with visitation one hour before the service. Burial is in Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Ill. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, was entrusted with local arrangements.
Dorothy was born July 5, 1917, in Yale, Illinois, the daughter of Jason and Edith (Peters) Smith. She married Harold Schifler, who died in 2002.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Bruce Wells of Milan, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Mary Smith of Highland, Indiana.
