Donna L. Bilderback

Donna L. Bilderback, 83, of East Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Aspen Rehab and Health Care, Silvis, Illinois.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, immediately preceded by an Eastern Star service at 11:15 a.m. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rose Chapter #626 O.E.S., Silvis.

The former Donna Lee Derry was born March 2, 1931, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond David and Cora Irene (Heaton) Derry. She married Jesse E. Bilderback on May 16, 1952, in Moline. He passed away April 23, 1977.

Donna retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co. in 1990, after 25 years of service.

She was a 50-year member and Past Matron of Rose Chapter #626 O.E.S., Silvis. She was also a member of Zal Caldron #4, Sadye E. Rochat Court #23 Order of the Amaranth, Vashti Shrine #12, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Daughters of the Nile, Drier Whitney #1933 Ladies VFW Auxiliary, and a member of First Christian Church, East Moline.

Donna is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Rita Hawkes of Hampton, Illinois, Roberta and Rico Hernandez of Moline, and Regina and Gene Gaskins of Moline; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila Herbert of Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews; and three step-sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son-in-law, David Hawkes, sisters, Louise Steiner and Veneta Colburn, a granddaughter, Tina Marie Hawkes, and a great-granddaughter, Araya Rose Hernandez.
