Dean is survived by his wife, Dena; two daughters, Jessica (Joshua) Smith, and Molly Sager, both of Davenport; two grandsons, Hunter and Ethan Smith; a sister, Kittie (Larry) Mital of Coyne Center, Illinois, and her children, Payton Hayward, Kodee Mital, and Brycen Mital; and step-siblings, Harlan, Harold, Harvey, and Gayla Arians, and Ronnie Wayne Norris, and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Voorhees.
