Jason D. Offchiss, 36, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, February 26, 2011, in Genesis Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to Robert Young Center, Rock Island.
Jason David Offchiss was born March 30, 1974, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of David R. and Jayne Arni Offchiss. He loved sports, especially baseball and football, and was an avid New York Yankee fan.
He is survived by his mother, Jayne Offchiss, of Moline; his father, David R. Offchiss of Lacona, Iowa; his son, Jordan; and siblings, Jayne Janecek and her husband Arthur of Dover Plains, New York, Joseph DeSalvo of Mahopac, New York, and Christie Offchiss of Moline; six nieces and nephews; his best friend, Sharon Elliott of Moline; and his favorite boys, Zachary and Ozzie.
