David L. Barnes, 74, formerly of Rock Island, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, in Heartland HCC, Galesburg, Illinois.
Graveside services are Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery, with Moline American Legion presenting military honors. Those attending should meet at Trimble Funeral Home, 701 12th Street, Moline, at 12:45.
David was born July 18, 1943, in Hoquiam, Washington, to Robert and Marjorie Tohren Barnes. He served in the US Army during Vietnam, and worked at the Milan Stone Quarry.
Survivors include siblings, Larry Barnes of Geneseo and Linda Bouchard of Oregon.
