David Flores

David Flores, 32, of Moline, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2017, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, with Pastors Basilio and Maria Martinez of Iglesia Cristiana Ministerio Casa de Dios Mision officiating. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in David's memory.

He was born December 29, 1984, in Harvey, Illinois, the son of Evaristo and Maria (Huaracha) Flores. He married Mabel Martinez on December 1, 2009, in Rock Island. He was a welder first at McLaughlin Body Company, and at Kone Elevator for the past three years.

David was a huge Dallas Cowboys' fan, and also of the Club América soccer team. Nothing compared to the love he had for his family, especially his children, who were his pride and joy. He was very social, and was always smiling.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel; four children, Javier and Fernando Acosta, Dayanna Flores, and David Flores, Jr.; his parents, Maria and Evaristo Flores of Moline; his grandmother, Maria DeJesus Ayala of Mexico; siblings, Imelda Flores, Evaristo Jr. (Angela Vera) Flores, Hugo Flores, Alejandra (Alfredo) Guzman, Miguel (Lupita Bermudez) Flores, Christina (Juan M. Lara) Flores-Lara, and Yesenia Flores, all of Moline and Rock Island; several aunts and uncles including Alberto Ramirez; numerous nieces and nephews; Mabel's parents, Maria and Basilio Martinez; his brothers-in-law, Basilio Jr. (Jennifer) Martinez, and Rafael Martinez; his beloved dog, Capone; and many close friends.
