Dalton L. Thomas

Dalton L. Thomas, 87, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in Aperion Care, East Moline, Illinois.

Private family services have been held. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crmatory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Ohio Masonic Home Alzheimers Unit or Shriners Burn Institute.

Dalton Leroy Thomas was born July 19, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Leroy and Hazel Kuhlmann Thomas. He married Clara Tansing on March 17, 1951, in Cincinnati. He served in the U. S. Air Force in Korea, and worked for John Deere Harvester Works for 24 years, retiring in 1992, He was a Mason and a member of the NRA, and enjoyed woodworking.

Dalton is survived by his wife, Clara; a daughter, Linda Thomas of Moline; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Judy Thomas of Galva, Illinois, two grandsons; two great granddaughters; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Thomas.
