Sherrard, Illinois Services for Colleen Marie Harmon, 47, a resident of Rosewood Care Center, Moline, formerly of Sherrard, are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan. The Reverend Paul K. Pett will officiate. Burial is in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Edgington. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to the church. Colleen died Tuesday, October 9, 2001, in Illini Hospital, Silvis. She was born July 26, 1954, in Moline, the daughter of Lyle and Darlene (Harkey) Harmon. She graduated from Sherrard High School and attended Black Hawk College. She had been married to Craig Morford. She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 10 years, last working in 1995 due to disability. She previously was a legal secretary for the Braud-Warner law firm in Rock Island. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan. She had been active in all sports, especially running and soccer. She was a member of the Corn Belt Running Club and an adult women's soccer league and had coached her son's soccer team. Colleen is survived by her parents, Darlene and Lyle Harmon of Aledo; a son, Christopher Thrap Jr. of St. Petersburg, Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Kelly Harmon of Moline; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Bruce Hunt of Coal Valley, Eileen and Larry Tysma of Hillsdale, and Melanie and David Flickinger of Milan; and seven nieces and nephews, Kyle and Alyssa Harmon, Madeleine Hunt, Emily and Jacob Tysma, and Wyatt and Lilah Flickinger.
