Charlotte V. Olson, 92, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, in Heartland Health Care Center, Galesburg, Illinois

Services are 2 p.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Tim Snart officiating. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before the service. Following the burial, friends are invited to join the family at a reception at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe. Memorials may be made to Heartland Health Care Center Recreation Fund or Harbor Light Hospice, both in Galesburg.

The former Charlotte V. Reed was born October 1, 1922, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Harry L. and Mable Reed. She graduated from Monmouth High School in 1940, and married Wayne George Olson on June 29, 1946, in Monmouth. He died October 16, 2008. She worked for many years at First National Bank of Moline and its successor Chase Bank, where she was executive secretary to three bank presidents. She retired August 28, 1983. She and her husband enjoyed traveling in their camper with her brother, Albert, and his wife.

Charlotte had no children. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families: Darlene and Marvin Lannholm of Galesburg, Kenneth and Joyce Reed of East Galesburg, Judith and Dave McClay of Galesburg, Dianna and James Perry of Sheridan, Wyoming, Larry and Janet Rule of Florida, and Debbie and Roy Kerns and Carol Reilly, all of the Quad City area. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; two brothers, Albert K. Reed, Sr. and Harry L. Reed, Jr.; and four sisters, Emma Hoy Allen Johnson, Bertha Rule, Violet Kamer, and Vera F. Reed.
