Charles Sollo

Charles Sollo, Jr., 70, of Seffner, Florida, formerly of Moline and Redondo Beach, California, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, in his niece's home in Seffner. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Visitation will be one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Sollo was born April 27, 1933, in Moline, the son of Charles and Buel (Carlson) Sollo. He graduated from Moline High School and Yale University, and was an Aerospace Engineer for TRW Corporation for many years. He enjoyed model trains. Charles is survived by a sister and her husband, Gabrielle and Charles Renfro of Stanardsville, Virginia, and a niece, Kristin Swofford of Seffner, Florida.
