Aledo, Illinois Cecelia C. Jacobs age 96 of Aledo died Friday, April 20, 2001 in Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 23, 2001 in Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo. Officiating will be Elder Paul Lindburg of Community of Christ, Moline, formerly Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be donated to Community of Christ, Moline. The former Cecelia Cora Lindburg was born on April 10, 1905 in Viola, Illinois the daughter of John and Mary (Buchler) Lindburg. She married Frank L. Jacobs on October 26, 1924 in Matherville, Illinois. Mr. Jacobs died on January 8, 1978. Cecelia enjoyed bowling, fishing and Crocheting. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, two foster daughters, Janice Lea of Colorado Springs, CO, and Betty Adams of Prophetstown, IL. A sister, Marjorie Dunkle, and three brothers, Warner, Joe and Woodburn Lindburg preceded her in death. END OF OBITUARY
