Carmen S. "Susie" Manley

Carmen S. "Susie" Manley, 62, of Milan, Illinois, died Thursday, December 21, 2017, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

There will be no public services. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

The former Carmen Sue Stambaugh was born August 23, 1955, in Rock Island, the daughter of Norris and Shirley (Mattingly) Stambaugh. She married Dave Estes, with whom she had her son, David, out of her marriage with Dave Miller, her son, Derek, was born, and she later married Dave Manley. She worked in the deli department at several area Eagle's Food Stores.

She enjoyed baking and cooking, collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia, and became a big Keith Urban fan in recent years.

Susie is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David E. and Brianne Estes of Moline, and Derek L. Miller of Rock Island; eight grandchildren; a sister, Connie Spears of Moline; a brother-in-law, Victor Linzer of Milan; nephews, George Linzer and Terry Stambaugh; and a cousin, Sylvester Atnip. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rosalie Stambaugh and Jean Linzer; and a brother Richard Stambaugh.
