Camilla Corwin, 87, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Sunday, December 23, 2018, in St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab Center, Rock Island

Services are 2 p.m. Friday January 4, 2019, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Sutton Cemetery, Jackson County, Iowa. Visitation is one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.

The former Camilla Faye Campbell was born June 22, 1931, in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Irvie and Ethel (Wilcox) Campbell. She married Donald Corwin in 1954. She was a home childcare provider for several years. She was a member of Moline Gospel Temple, loved caring for her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking.

Camilla is survived by two sons, Dennis Corwin and his wife Cathy and David Corwin, all of Rock Island; three grandsons, Donald Corwin, Timothy Corwin and his wife Lauren, and Dustin Corwin; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Wava Koob of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and two nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, and a niece and nephew.
