Bonnie Harker, 65, of Silvis, Illinois, formerly of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, in her home.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bonnie Jean Ristau was born February 6, 1944, in Moline, the daughter of Earl and Ilo (Jones) Ristau. She was a bartender at various establishments in the area for many years. She owned and operated a ceramic shop and a gas station.
She was a member of the Lion?s Club. She enjoyed ceramics and reading.
Bonnie is survived by her mother, Ilo Ristau of Coal Valley; a son, Joe Poole of Davenport, Iowa; daughters, Vicki Bradford and her fiancé, Ron Sheehan, of Moline, Lynnette Frutiger and her husband, Tony, of Orion, Illinois, and Lisa McMillin of Moline; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Victoria Thomas of Coal Valley; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Jamie Ristau of Texas; a half-sister, Lynn Ristau of Minnesota, several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend of 50 years, Shirly Duncan. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Ristau.
