Bobbie N. Paustian

Bobbie N. Paustian, 83, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in her daughter's home in Alexandria, Virginia.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Scott Carlson officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, and friends are invited to join the family at a funeral luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe following the burial. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline.

Bobbie Nell Wyers was born November 24, 1931, in Hamilton County. Alabama, to James Edgar and Elsie Mae (Bryan) Wyers. She married Donald B. Paustian on April 21, 1956, in Moline, He died July 22, 1975. She was a florist at Knees Florist in Moline for several years, and also worked at the Moline Bakery, Sohrbeck Drug Store, New York Store and Hickey Brothers Cigar Store. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and music.

Bobbie is survived by three children, Jodie Paustian of Alexandria, Phil Paustian and his wife Patty of Batavia, Illinois, and Paul Paustian of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Abby, Amanda, Melissa, Lauren and Jeff Paustian; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Lee Wyers of Florida, and Edward Wyers of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Eddie Mae Dotson; and a brother, Jim Wyers.
