Beverly Ervin

Beverly A. Ervin, 86, of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, died Saturday, May 23, 2020, at home.

Private graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials may be made to King’s Harvest Ministries.

The former Beverly Ann Wichman was born June 9, 1933, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Louise (Meincke) Wichman. She married Harold J. “Tooney” Ervin on March 10, 1951, in Davenport. He died April 18, 1997.

She enjoyed fishing and camping on a little lake in southern Iowa with family and friends. She loved to crochet. She had many consecutive Blue Ribbons and some Best of Show Ribbons at the local fair. She enjoyed many sports, especially NASCAR. Beverly was an excellent cook and inspired many. Everyone was welcome to dine at her table.

Beverly is survived by four children, Rita Lowery of Pleasant Valley, Kim Harbin of LeClaire, Iowa, Jodi Marple of Pleasant Valley, and Gregory Ervin of Pleasant Valley, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Danny Cary, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Johannah Speer.

She loved her husband at a young age and is now united with him in Heaven. May they dance forever!
