Augusta L. Kasinger

East Moline, Illinois Augusta L. Kasinger, 82, of East Moline, Illinois, peacefully passed away Sunday, September 22, 2002, in the Bridges Ward of Aledo Health and Rehabilitation Center, Aledo, Illinois. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Gent Funeral Home, Alton, Illinois. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Tuesday. Interment will be in Upper Alton Cemetery following the services, where she will rest beside her husband. Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Valley Chapter of Alzheimer's Association. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Augusta Lee Dial was born May 18, 1920, in Wood River, Illinois, to Oliver Lee and Levina (Bodkin) Dial. She married Thomas Paul Kasinger in Ponca City, Oklahoma, on November 23, 1938. Her husband preceded her in death on September 22, 1974. She worked briefly at the Norge Corporation factory as a secretary and as an assistant manager at Elman's Department Store, both in Effingham, Illinois. Her son, Thomas P.
