Albert Frederick Stivers

Albert F. Stivers, age 71 of Rock Island, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Albert Frederick Stivers was born February 16, 1932 in Rock Island, Illinois the son of James and Grace (Height) Stivers. He married the former Wilda (Scott) Morgan on November 28, 1981 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on December 12, 1999. Mr. Stiver's retired from the East Moline Public School District 37 where he was employed in the maintenance department for many years. He enjoyed scrapping tinkering with cars, and was especially fond of his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Mr. Stiver's survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth McReynolds of Princeton, Illinois, and Dorothy Brys of Macomb, Illinois, two brothers, Clair Stivers of Macomb, Illinois, and Raymond Stivers of Wildwood, Florida.
