Adriana R. "Gogo" Muñoz

Adriana R. “Gogo” Muñoz, 38, of East Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Antonio Dittmer officiating. Burial is in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, East Moline.  Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Adriana’s memory.

Adriana Raya Muñoz was born April 14, 1984, in Salinas, California, the daughter of Ruben Gonzalez Muñoz and Carmen Raya Muñoz. She graduated from United Township High School in 2003 and worked at Arconic.

Her passion was dancing and music. She was the life of the party and loved spending time with her friends and family.

Gogo is survived by her parents, Ruben and Carmen Muñoz of East Moline; her daughter, Natalia Mendoza of East Moline; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Liliana and Jose Ruiz of East Moline, Janelle and Esteban Gomez of Davenport, Iowa, and Roxanna Muñoz-Raygoza and Alfredo Raygoza of Silvis; nieces and nephews, Juliana, Briana, Tatiana, Jose “Mateo”, Paulina, and Max; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
