Samuel Rodriguez Aguilar

Samuel Rodriguez Aguilar, 78, of Davenport, Iowa, died Friday, December 9, 2016.

Services are 6:30 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2767, 9th Street, Rock Island. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.

He was born December 15, 1937, in Zacatlán, Puebla, Mexico. He married Rosalia Juarez Diaz in July of 1965. He was a metal worker and landscaper in Mexico and Davenport.

Samuel was a very hard worker who enjoyed singing and dancing. He had a strong faith in his God, Jehovah, and His promise of a new Earth.

He is survived by his wife; children, Alfredo Rodriguez Juarez of Mexico, Maria Rodriguez of Davenport, Margarita Rodriguez of Mexico, and Hortencia Rodriguez of Davenport; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister. He was preceded in death by two siblings and three children.
